NC State\u2019s Andreas Vazaios<\/strong> has been selected as the ACC Men\u2019s Swimmer of the Week, and Florida State\u2019s Cameron Thatcher<\/strong> has been tabbed as the Diver of the Week. On the women\u2019s side, Elise Haan<\/strong> of NC State has been selected as the ACC Women\u2019s Swimmer of the Week, and Pittsburgh\u2019s Meme Sharp<\/strong> has been named the Diver of the Week.<\/p>\n

Vazaios turned in a stellar weekend for the Wolfpack, helping his team place first at the Ohio State Invite. The senior from Athens, Greece, swam in eight different races, touching the wall first in the 100 back, 200 fly, 200 IM, 400 free relay, 800 free relay and the 200 medley relay. Vazaios recorded an NCAA A cut in the 200 fly (1:41.07), and was a part of the teams that posted qualifying standards in the 400 free relay (2:48.75) and 800 free relay (6:19.60).<\/p>\n

Thatcher helped Florida State to a first-place finish at the Georgia Tech Invite. The sophomore from Toledo, Ohio, placed first on the 1-meter with a score of 384.90. Thatcher also placed fourth in the 3-meter competition (349.20) and fifth on the platform (315.45).<\/p>\n

Haan was key in the NC State women\u2019s second-place finish at the Ohio State Invite. The junior from Naples, Florida, had top-two finishes in six of her events, including wins in the 200 free relay and the 200 medley relay. Haan\u2019s 200 free relay squad posted an NCAA A cut time of 1:28.52.<\/p>\n

Sharp also had a strong showing at the Ohio State Invite. The senior from Noblesville, Indiana, placed second on the 1-meter with a score of 288.85, and second on the 3-meter by posting a 315.00.<\/p>\n
