The collegiate season is always jam packed with fast swimming around this time and with so many meets taking place at once, it can be hard to keep up with all the exciting action.<\/p>\n<p>Here you&#8217;ll find team scores, some\u00a0highlights and links to results for some of the smaller invitationals, that may have not hit the national spotlight over the weekend, but still had some\u00a0speedy swims.<\/p>\n<h3>TYR Invitational (Northwestern)<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/results.teamunify.com\/isnasa\/\" target=\"_blank\">Full Results<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Overall scores:<\/p>\n<p>Women<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Northwestern University 1190<\/li>\n<li>Michigan State University 705<\/li>\n<li>Ohio University 563<\/li>\n<li>Grand Canyon University 480<\/li>\n<li>Fresno State University 399<\/li>\n<li>Illinois at Chicago 357<\/li>\n<li>Truman State University 252<\/li>\n<li>Saint Louis 232<\/li>\n<li>Illinois State University 11<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Men<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Northwestern University 890<\/li>\n<li>Michigan State University 867<\/li>\n<li>Grand Canyon University 721<\/li>\n<li>Saint Louis 532<\/li>\n<li>Illinois at Chicago 404<\/li>\n<li>Truman State University 372<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The Northwestern hosted, TYR Invite saw several Division I mid-major programs put up big numbers as the host team took both the men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s team titles.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the meet&#8217;s top swims included a 1:57.82 from Northwestern&#8217;s IM star, <strong>Calypso Sheridan<\/strong>. Sheridan&#8217;s time broke the pool record and earned her an NCAA &#8216;B&#8217; cut.<\/p>\n<p>Grand Canyon Senior <strong>Mazen El Kamash<\/strong> posted a 19.80 in the 50 free to win the event and put himself in the running to be invited to Division I NCAA&#8217;s. El Kamash&#8217;s teammate <strong>Mark Nikolaev<\/strong> posted the nation&#8217;s fastest 100 backstroke with his 45.22.<\/p>\n<p>Grand Canyon continued their successful weekend by earning an NCAA &#8216;A&#8217; cut in their men&#8217;s 200 medley relay with a 1:24.46.<\/p>\n<h3>Mizzou Invitational<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/stats.mutigers.com\/live\/moinv17\/\" target=\"_blank\">Full Results<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Overall scores:<\/p>\n<p>Men<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Missouri, 1,411<\/li>\n<li>Drury 683.5<\/li>\n<li>Wyoming 671.5<\/li>\n<li>Oklahoma Baptist 419<\/li>\n<li>South Dakota State 352<\/li>\n<li>Cincinnati 67<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Women<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Missouri, 1,391.5<\/li>\n<li>Nebraska, 774.5<\/li>\n<li>Wyoming, 486<\/li>\n<li>Drury, 378<\/li>\n<li>Illinois, 339<\/li>\n<li>UC Davis, 276<\/li>\n<li>Oklahoma Baptist, 107<\/li>\n<li>South Dakota State, 100<\/li>\n<li>Iowa State, 45<\/li>\n<li>Cincinnati, 40<\/li>\n<li>Nebraska-Omaha, 2<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The Mizzou Tigers did a successful job at defending their home pool from DII powerhouses like Drury and UC Davis as both the men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s squads earned team titles over the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Mizzou senior <strong>Kira Zubar<\/strong> managed to dip under the 4:40 mark in the 500 by posting a 4:38.80. Fellow lady Tiger, <strong>Sharli Brady<\/strong>, swam a 4:04.37 for the win in the 400 IM.<\/p>\n<p>On the men&#8217;s side, Tiger freshman <strong>Mikel Schreuders<\/strong>\u00a0posted a swift 1:33.24 in the 200 freestyle while his teammate <strong>Jacob Wielinski<\/strong> dipped under the 15:00 mark in the 1,650 freestyle with a time of 14:59.10.<\/p>\n<h3>Houston Invitational<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.uhcougars.com\/livestats\/w-swim\/\" target=\"_blank\">Full Results<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Overall scores:<\/p>\n<p>Women<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Houston, University of 1542.5<\/li>\n<li>Rice University 1344<\/li>\n<li>Tulane University Swimming 879.5<\/li>\n<li>Vanderbilt University 603<\/li>\n<li>Colorado State University 543<\/li>\n<li>New Mexico, University of 500<\/li>\n<li>U.S. Air Force Academy 475<\/li>\n<li>Northern Colorado, University 444<\/li>\n<li>Idaho, University of 367<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The Houston Invite played host to exclusively women&#8217;s teams this weekend.<\/p>\n<p>The 500 freestyle saw a 4:42.77 out of New Mexico&#8217;s <strong>Adriana Palomino<\/strong>, which gave her an NCAA &#8216;B&#8217; cut in the event.
