Minnetonka totaled 281.5 points. Wayzata edged Rosemount for third place by a single point as the two teams scored 133 and 132, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>In the first individual event of the night Edina took first and second behind swims from seniors\u00a0<strong>Kelli McCarthy\u00a0<\/strong>(1:48.31) and\u00a0<strong>Ashley Post\u00a0<\/strong>(1:49.49). Armstrong sophomore\u00a0<strong>Sierra Smith\u00a0<\/strong>was third (1:50.85). McCarthy also won the 500 freestyle by ten seconds with her 4:52.83.<\/p>\n<p>Edina&#8217;s senior\u00a0<strong>Raime Jones\u00a0<\/strong>was runner up in the 200 IM with a 2:03.89. Blaine sophomore\u00a0<strong>Isabelle Stadden\u00a0<\/strong>won the event in 2:00.49, a Class AA record. Stillwater freshman\u00a0<strong>Sydney Rogness\u00a0<\/strong>was third (2:05.33).<\/p>\n<p>Lakeville South&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Ryenne Hathaway\u00a0<\/strong>won the 50 free in 23.20 ahead of Roseville&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Pyper Doo\u00a0<\/strong>(23.34) and Minnetonka freshman\u00a0<strong>Abigail Kapeller\u00a0<\/strong>(23.54) and senior\u00a0<strong>Emily Haan\u00a0<\/strong>(23.59). Doo later won the 100 free in 49.61 ahead of Wayzata&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Jordan McGinty\u00a0<\/strong>(50.42) and a pair of Edina seniors: Jones (50.78) and Post (51.18).<\/p>\n<p>Minnetonka won the opening 200 medley relay by over two seconds.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Kapeller,\u00a0<strong>Julia Brazeau<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Raegan Willis<\/strong>, and\u00a0Haan<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>touched in 1:42.94. Wayzata&#8217;s<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>McGinty,\u00a0<strong>Jenna Marquette<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Melinda Zhang<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Cindy Zhou\u00a0<\/strong>were second in 1:44.98. Finishing third with a 1:45.37 was St. Michael-Albertville&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Kelsey Kocon<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Emma Lezer<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Kristen Pieper<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Jordyn Schnell<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Hopkins junior\u00a0<strong>Molly Meland\u00a0<\/strong>stopped the clock in 55.36 for 100 fly victory ahead of Mpls Southwest&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Peyton D&#8217;Emanuele\u00a0<\/strong>(55.53). Chanhassen senior\u00a0<strong>Rowan Hodgins\u00a0<\/strong>(56.02) touched third.<\/p>\n<p>Edina also took home a victory in the diving where\u00a0<strong>Megan Phillip\u00a0<\/strong>won with 476.05 points.<\/p>\n<p>Minnetonka edged Edina 1:34.10 to 1:34.28 in the 200 freestyle relay. Haan,\u00a0<strong>Ellie Schini<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Nichole Burg<\/strong>, and Kapeller raced for Minnetonka.\u00a0<strong>Nora Clarkowski<\/strong>,\u00a0Post, McCarthy, and Jones were Edina&#8217;s quartet.<\/p>\n<p>After her second place finish in the 200 IM Stadden won the 100 backstroke by a large margin with a 52.78. Eagan&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Lara Mitchell\u00a0<\/strong>(55.59) and Meland (55.82) were second and third.<\/p>\n<p>Lezer swam a 1:01.92 to win the 100 breaststroke ahead of Anoka freshman\u00a0<strong>Reese Dehen\u00a0<\/strong>(1:03.27) and Eden Prarie sophomore\u00a0<strong>Kylie Rydland\u00a0<\/strong>(1:03.88).<\/p>\n<p>Edina ended the meet with one more victory, a 400 freestyle relay gold by nearly four seconds.
