This was the third straight open title for Greenwich.<\/p>\n<p>It was Cheshire that was first to the wall in the 200 medley relay.\u00a0<strong>Alexandra Tyler<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Elizabeth Boyer<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Julia Stevens<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Sophie Murphy\u00a0<\/strong>finished in 1:44.53, a half second ahead of Greenwich&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Samantha Ennis<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Meghan Lynch<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Kelly Montesi<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Louisa Bjerke\u00a0<\/strong>in 1:45.00.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tylor Mathieu<\/strong>, a junior from RHAM, won the 200 freestyle in 1:50.38, ahead of a 1:51.54 from Greenwich&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Lillian Clisham\u00a0<\/strong>and Ridgefield&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Anna Turner<\/strong>&#8216;s 1:52.43. Mathieu also won the 500 free with a 4:55.66. Cheshire&#8217;s\u00a0Stevens was also under five minutes (4:59.92) and Darien&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Carly Rutledge\u00a0<\/strong>(5:00.11) finished third.<\/p>\n<p>Greenwich freshman Lynch raced to a state and open record in the 200 IM. She touched the wall in 2:00.08, nearly a second faster than the 2010 mark of 2:00.90. Boyer, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/ymca-national-champion-liz-boyer-hands-verbal-to-harvard\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a Harvard commit<\/a>, was runner up in 2:03.59.\u00a0<strong>Lizzy Colwell\u00a0<\/strong>of New Cannan was back in third with a 2:05.07.<\/p>\n<p>Staples junior\u00a0<strong>Marissa Healy\u00a0<\/strong>led three women under 24 in the 50 free. She grabbed gold in 23.63. Cheshire&#8217;s Murphy (23.80) and Weston&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Charlotte Proceller\u00a0<\/strong>(23.89) were second and third.<\/p>\n<p>Greenwich&#8217;s Montesi lowered her own state record in the 100 fly with a 53.88, well ahead of the field. Montesi also dominated the 100 back with a 54.87. Hall&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Margaret Mantz\u00a0<\/strong>(56.97) eded Healy (56.99) for silver in the 100 fly. Healy&#8217;s teammate\u00a0<strong>Esme Hunter\u00a0<\/strong>won the 100 free with a 51.30 while Shelton&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Simona Visinski\u00a0<\/strong>(51.71) was second ahead of Murphy (51.87).<\/p>\n<p>New Canaan&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Claire Ross\u00a0<\/strong>won one meter diving with 498.60 points.<\/p>\n<p>Shelton won the 200 freestyle relay in 1:36.88 with the team of\u00a0<strong>Emma Parkes<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Louise Kim<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Caitlin McGuire<\/strong>, and\u00a0Visinski. Greenwich&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Julia Merrill<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Louisa Bjerke<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Kortney Knudsen<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Emily Warner\u00a0<\/strong>out touched New Canaan&#8217;s <strong>Caroline Sweeney<\/strong><strong>,\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Alexandra Yee<\/strong><strong>,\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Maddie Haley<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>and Colwell by .01, 1:37.98 to 1:37.99.<\/p>\n<p>Boyer moved up from her runner up 200 IM to 100 breaststroke gold with a 1:03.15.
