Florida State was third at 958.5. On the men&#8217;s side, Florida State scored 1569.5 points to crush Alabama (1174.5) and Georgia Tech (890).<\/p>\n<p>Alabama&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Mia Nonnenberg\u00a0<\/strong>finished with the win in the women&#8217;s 1650 free at 16:23.62, followed by teammate\u00a0<strong>Alexis Preski\u00a0<\/strong>in 16:27.89. Georgia Tech&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Emily Ilgenfritz<\/strong> came in third at 16:40.72.<\/p>\n<p>In the men&#8217;s mile, Mahmoud put up a time of 14:57.88, making him the fourth-fastest performer in the country this season, behind Louisville&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Marcelo Acosta<\/strong> and the Florida duo of\u00a0<strong>Ben Lawless\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Blake Manganiello<\/strong>. Mahmoud&#8217;s Gamecock teammate\u00a0<strong>Cody Bekemeyer\u00a0<\/strong>came in with another competitive time of 15:03.82, and Alabama&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Daniel Kober\u00a0<\/strong>grabbed third in 15:23.76.<\/p>\n<p>Florida State freshman\u00a0<strong>Madeline Cohen\u00a0<\/strong>pulled away from Auburn&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Erin Faulconer\u00a0<\/strong>to win the women&#8217;s 200 back. Cohen touched in 1:53.51, while Faulconer was second in 1:54.44 and Georgia Tech&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Carrie Lee\u00a0<\/strong>came in third at 1:56.42.<\/p>\n<p>Alabama&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Christopher Reid\u00a0<\/strong>held off Florida State&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Connor Kalisz<\/strong> in the men&#8217;s 200 back, 1:41.74 to 1:42.15. Georgia Tech&#8217;s <strong>Rodrigo Correia<\/strong> was third at 1:43.00.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Alyssa Tetzloff\u00a0<\/strong>picked up another win in the women&#8217;s 100 free, but she had to work hard to hold off teammate\u00a0<strong>Julie Meynan<\/strong>, 48.01 to 48.04. Close behind was Georgia Tech&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Iris Wang\u00a0<\/strong>in 48.23.<\/p>\n<p>Alabama&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Robert Howard\u00a0<\/strong>became the first man in the country to break 42 seconds in the men&#8217;s 100 free this season when he posted a time of 41.99 to win comfortably over teammate\u00a0<strong>Zane Waddell<\/strong> (42.68). Florida State&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Emir Muratovic\u00a0<\/strong>took third in 43.11.<\/p>\n<p>Alabama&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Justine McFarlane\u00a0<\/strong>won the women&#8217;s 200 breast in 2:09.58, taking down 100 breast winner\u00a0<strong>Natalie Pierce\u00a0<\/strong>of Florida State. Pierce came in at 2:10.31, and Eastern Carolina&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Vendela Norrman\u00a0<\/strong>touched third in 2:11.72.<\/p>\n<p>The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets finished 1-2 in the men&#8217;s 200 breast. Freshman\u00a0<strong>Caio Pumputis\u00a0<\/strong>won in 1:53.88, and\u00a0<strong>Moises Loschi<\/strong> touched second in 1:54.48. South Carolina&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Nils Wich-Glasen\u00a0<\/strong>came in third at 1:55.84.<\/p>\n<p>Auburn&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Bailey Nero\u00a0<\/strong>got the win in the women&#8217;s 200 fly in 1:57.92, followed by Georgia Tech&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Laura Branton\u00a0<\/strong>(1:58.76) and Auburn&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Jaden Bellina\u00a0<\/strong>(1:59.39).<\/p>\n<p>South Carolina&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Fynn Minuth\u00a0<\/strong>was the top man in the men&#8217;s 200 fly, touching in 1:43.56. Georgia Tech&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Christian Ferraro\u00a0<\/strong>touched second in 1:44.48, about a half-second ahead of teammate\u00a0<strong>Tim Slanschek<\/strong> (1:44.89).<\/p>\n<p>Georgia Tech&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Cami Hidalgo\u00a0<\/strong>picked up another win in diving, scoring 270.05 on the platform. The Auburn duo of\u00a0<strong>Allison Maillard\u00a0<\/strong>(252.95) and\u00a0<strong>Erin Norton\u00a0<\/strong>(252.30) rounded out the top three.<\/p>\n<p>Auburn&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Scott Lazeroff\u00a0<\/strong>took first on the platform for the men, finishing with 397.70 points, while FSU&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Aidan Faminoff\u00a0<\/strong>(374.85) and GT&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Matt Casillas\u00a0<\/strong>(367.70) rounded out the top three.<\/p>\n<p>Auburn won the final women&#8217;s event of the meet, the 400 free relay, with Meynan, Faulconer,\u00a0<strong>Ashton Ellzey\u00a0<\/strong>and Tetzloff touching in 3:13.88. Albama finished second in 3:15.39 with\u00a0<strong>Flora Molnar<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Temarie Tomley<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Leonie Kullman<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Bailey Scott<\/strong>. Florida State&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Emma Terebo<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Leila Johnston<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Tayla Lovemore\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Lexi Smith\u00a0<\/strong>finished third in 3:17.67.<\/p>\n<p>To close out the meet, Alabama&#8217;s Bams, Waddell, Reid and Howard won the men&#8217;s 400 free relay in 2:50.46.
