PHOENIX, Arizona, October 27. THE last few days have been fast and furious in the Swimming World<\/i> College Recruit Rankings system. Northwestern and Tennessee have made some serious moves in recruiting, while Stanford, Brigham Young and Indiana also picked up some solid talent.<\/p>\n

Tennessee<\/b>
\nFive-star Anna DeMonte<\/a> continued what is becoming a strong class for Tennessee, as the Club Wolverine swimmer is headed to Rocky Top. DeMonte, who preps at Huron High School, has a pair of senior national cuts: 200m back 2:17.34; 200m IM 2:19.83.<\/p>\n

Four-star Mary Griffith<\/a> added another athlete to the Lady Volunteer squad by pledging to UT. Griffith, who trains with Lodi City Swim and preps at Tokay High School, has a senior national cut in the 100-meter fly (1:02.43).<\/p>\n

Two other five stars have also committed to Tennessee. Amanda Carner<\/a> and Faith Johnson<\/a> are also headed to Knoxville in the fall. <\/p>\n

Northwestern<\/b>
\nNorthwestern continued to stockpile some major talent as five-star Karen Turner<\/a> will be a future Wildcat. Turner, who trains with The Dolphins and preps at Lakeridge High School, has senior national cuts in the: 50m free 0:26.33; 100m back 1:03.38; 200m back 2:16.40 and 200m IM 2:19.30. <\/p>\n

Four-star Brooke Wanser<\/a> also is headed to Evanston in the fall. Wanser, who trains with the Irvine Aquazots and preps at Saddleback Valley Christian, has a senior national cut: 200m breast 2:36.51.<\/p>\n

Northwestern already has commitments from five-star Shelly Patton<\/a>, five-star Van Donkersgoed<\/a>, four-star Julianne Kurke<\/a> and two-star Julia Pratt<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Stanford<\/b>
\nFive-star Julia Anderson<\/a> is on her way to Stanford after graduation. Anderson, who trains with Fort Worth Area Swim Team and preps at Paschal High School, is a versatile freestyle swimmer with several senior national cuts: 100m free 0:56.12; 200m free 1:59.57; 400m free 4:15.38. <\/p>\n

Stanford also has a pair of five stars already committed as Sean Duggan<\/a> and Kaylin Moss<\/a> are also heading to Northern California in the fall.<\/p>\n

Indiana<\/b>
\nFive-star Brooklyn Snodgrass<\/a> is a big pickup for the Indiana Hoosiers. Snodgrass, who trains with Cascade Swim Club in Calgary and preps at the National Sports School, has several strong long course meter times: 100m back 1:02.88; 200m back 2:14.03; 200m IM 2:20.24. <\/p>\n

Brigham Young<\/b>
\nFive-star Preston Jenkins<\/a> will provide a big spark for Brigham Young next fall. Jenkins, who trains at Bolles, has a pair of senior national cuts in the backstroke events: 100m back 0:57.13; 200m back 2:02.63.<\/p>\n

North Carolina<\/b>
\nFour-star Nic Graesser<\/a> will attend North Carolina. Graesser, who trains with Upper Main Line YMCA and preps at Conestoga High School, has a senior national cut in the 100-meter back (58.27). <\/p>\n

The Tar Heels have been busy with previous pledges from five star Madison Burns<\/a>, five star Annie Harrison<\/a> and four star Sam Lewis<\/a><\/p>\n

Ohio State<\/b>
\nTwo-star Erin Dunseith<\/a> has committed to Ohio State. Dunseith, who trains with the Eagle Swim Team and preps at Notre Dame Prep has a bonus junior cut in the 100-yard back (58.50). <\/p>\n

Ohio State has four other commitments pledging publicly via the Swimming World<\/i> system. Five stars Josh Fleagle<\/a> and Annie Lazor<\/a> as well as four star Christopher DePietro<\/a> and three star Camey Rabold<\/a> will be calling Columbus home.<\/p>\n

Harvard<\/b>
\nThree-star Marlee Ehrlich<\/a> will be swimming in the Ivy League after pledging to Harvard. Ehrlich, who trains with the Jersey Wahoos and preps at Cherry Hill East High School, has several junior national cuts: 400m free 4:21.51; 1500m free 17:09.29; 1000y free 9:55.62; 1650y free 16:43.47. <\/p>\n
