Atkinson, who has twice tied the world record of 1:02.36, claimed the top seed with a 1:06.36. Denmark&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Pernille Blume<\/strong> with a 52.72.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Emma McKeon<\/strong> of Australia added a 52.88 to finish fourth in prelims, while the USA&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Lia Neal<\/strong> turned in a 52.91 for fifth.<\/p>\n<p>Australia&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Bronte Campbell\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Brittany Elmslie<\/strong> added times Germany&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Poul Zellmann<\/strong> took third in prelims with a 3:43.72.<\/p>\n<p>Americans\u00a0<strong>Trey Freeman<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Andrew Abruzzo<\/strong> picked up the fourth and fifth place seeds with times of 3:45.27 and 3:46.87 respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Germany&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Jacob Heidtmann<\/strong> (3:46.98), Hungary&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>David
