Notre Dame\u2019s Abbie Dolan<\/strong> has been selected as the ACC Women\u2019s Swimmer of the Week, and Elissa Dawson<\/strong> of North Carolina has been tabbed as the Diver of the Week. On the men\u2019s side, NC State\u2019s Ryan Held<\/strong> has been selected as the ACC Men\u2019s Swimmer of the Week, and teammate James Brady<\/strong> has been selected as the Diver of the Week.<\/p>\n

Dolan shined for the Irish in wins over No. 9 Indiana and Cincinnati. The sophomore from Sunfish Lake, Minnesota, won all three races she swam, recording NCAA B cuts in the 100 free (49.30) and 200 free (1:45.94). Dolan\u2019s 200 free relay team earned gold with a time of 1:32.08.<\/p>\n

Dawson earned her second consecutive weekly honor with an impressive performance against No. 2 Texas. The senior from Durham, North Carolina, won the 3-meter competition with a score of 363.75, the best mark in the ACC this season. Dawson also placed second on the 1-meter with a score of 321.75.<\/p>\n

Held played a critical part in NC State\u2019s 176-166 win over No. 9 Texas. The senior from Springfield, Illinois, placed first in the 50 free (19.57) and 100 free (43.16), turning in NCAA B cuts and times that ranked among the top four fastest in the country. Held\u2019s 200 medley relay team clocked a 1:25.91, touching the wall first and recording the second-best time in the nation this season.<\/p>\n

Brady posted a strong day on the boards in NC State\u2019s win over No. 9 Texas. The sophomore from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, turning in scores of 352.80 on the 1-meter and 367.72 on the 3-meter.<\/p>\n
