Gatlin is from Ashburn, Virginia where she swims for Nation&#8217;s Capital Swim Club. She&#8217;s a senior at Briar Woods High School.<\/p>\n<p>Gatlin is a versatile talent, excelling mostly at freestyle, butterfly, and IM. Her top times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>200 Free 1:52.37<\/li>\n<li>100 Free 52.17<\/li>\n<li>50 Free 24.29<\/li>\n<li>200 Fly 2:05.00<\/li>\n<li>100 Fly 56.95<\/li>\n<li>200 IM 2:06.58<\/li>\n<li>400 IM 4:32.65<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>At last year&#8217;s Summit League Championships Gatlin would have been in the top eight of the 200 free, 200 fly, and 200 IM, and in the top 16 of the 100 free and 400 IM.<\/p>\n<p>She said of her decision,<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;God has blessed me with my dream to swim at the collegiate level. I am excited to announce my commitment to swim at the University of Nebraska- Omaha. From the first phone call with Coach Hessel to the official visit I could sense that UNO would become family. The visit to UNO was incredible with the beautiful campus, great academics and the warm welcome from the team. I instantly fell in love! I would like to thank the coaching staff and UNO team for making me feel at home.
