{"id":284032,"date":"2017-11-11T10:48:42","date_gmt":"2017-11-11T17:48:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/?p=284032"},"modified":"2017-11-17T10:49:38","modified_gmt":"2017-11-17T17:49:38","slug":"michael-andrew-sets-wjr-in-100-scm-individual-medley","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/michael-andrew-sets-wjr-in-100-scm-individual-medley\/","title":{"rendered":"Michael Andrew Sets WJR in 100 SCM Individual Medley"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>American sprinter Michael Andrew went head-to-head with World Record holder Vladimir Morozov on the final night of competition at the Beijing stop of the 2017 FINA World Cup circuit.\u00a0Andrew\u00a0earned a\u00a0silver behind the world record holder and set his own World Junior record in the process by producing a 51.86.<\/p>\n<p>Since FINA just started recognizing WJRs in SCM as of January 2015, Andrew is technically the first WJR holder in this event.
