Hosszu won the event in the finals with a time of 56.34. Le Clos took it out fast with Australia&#8217;s Cam McEvoy about a half a second behind at the 100m mark. Following closely behind her was\u00a0<strong>Junyang Feng<\/strong> from FINA&#8217;s International Club with a time of 30.40. This betters the previous record of 4:00.56, which makes her the first junior swimmer to ever break 4:00 in the 400m freestyle. Belarus swimmer and FSU graduate <strong>Pavel Sankovich<\/strong> earned the silver with a time of 23.11.
