NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Alexis Baker\u00a0<\/strong>has verbally committed to swim for UNC Asheville beginning next fall. Baker is from Kingwood, Texas. She’s a senior at Kingwood Park High School and swims for The Woodlands Swim Team.<\/p>\n

She said of her decision,<\/p>\n

“I’m excited to announce my commitment to study and swim at the University of North Carolina Asheville! I chose UNCA because the combination of the gorgeous campus, phenomenal coaching staff, and fabulous team can’t be beat. I can’t wait to be a Bulldog for the next four years!”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Baker is primarily a butterflier and breaststroker. At last year’s Texas 5A State Championships Baker finished fifth in the 100 fly (57.39). Her best times are:<\/p>\n
