Read more about the women&#8217;s and men&#8217;s meets below.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Women&#8217;s meet<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The Bulldog women beat the Yellow Jackets handily, 174-102, and they were propelled by two wins from senior\u00a0<strong>Meaghan Raab<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Georgia&#8217;s women opened with a win in the 200 medley relay, as\u00a0<strong>Kylie Stewart<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Caitlin Casazza<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Chelsea Britt<\/strong> and\u00a0Raab won by more than a second in 1:41.40. The Bulldogs then won the first five swimming events contested, beginning with\u00a0<strong>Meryn McCann&#8217;s\u00a0<\/strong>win in the 1000 free (9:57.72).<\/p>\n<p>Raab then won the 200 free in 1:46.97, overcoming a strong start from Georgia Tech&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Iris Wang<\/strong>, and freshman\u00a0<strong>Maddie Wallis\u00a0<\/strong>took first in the 100 back in 55.45. Another freshman,\u00a0<strong>Danielle Della Torre<\/strong>, won the 100 breast in 1:03.72 before Casazza won the 200 fly in 1:58.48.<\/p>\n<p>Wang picked up the Yellow Jackets&#8217; first win of the day in the women&#8217;s meet in the 50 free, touching in 23.09, and after a break,\u00a0Wang won again with a 49.76 in the 100 free. Teammate\u00a0<strong>Cami Hidalgo<\/strong> secured\u00a0wins GT in three-meter diving (312.30) and one-meter diving (296.33).<\/p>\n<p>Georgia then got back on the winning track with\u00a0<strong>Courtney Harnish\u00a0<\/strong>taking the top spot in the 200 back (1:57.86) ahead of McCann, and\u00a0<strong>Lexi Glunn<\/strong> won the 200 breast for the Bulldogs (2:17.71).\u00a0<strong>Meg Finnon\u00a0<\/strong>captured the top spot in the 500 free with her time of 4:52.96, and teammate\u00a0<strong>Megan Kingsley\u00a0<\/strong>led a Bulldog 1-2-3-4 sweep in the 100 fly, with Kingsley touching in 54.39.<\/p>\n<p>With the meet already secured, Georgia swam exhibition in the 200 IM, with Raab winning in 1:59.50, and the Bulldogs&#8217;\u00a0Stewart,\u00a0<strong>Donna Blaum<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Sammie Burchill<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Veronica Burchill<\/strong> added a 400 free relay win, touching in 3:24.90.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Men&#8217;s meet<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The Georgia men were challenged a bit more than their women&#8217;s team, but they still pulled out a comfortable 171-110 win over the Yellow Jackets.<\/p>\n<p>Georgia had to work for a win in the meet-opening 200 medley relay, but\u00a0<strong>Javier Acevedo<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>James Guest<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Camden Murphy\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Alex Bemiller\u00a0<\/strong>managed to touch just ahead of Georgia Tech&#8217;s squad of\u00a0<strong>Rodrigo Correia<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Moises Loschi<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Franco Reyes\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Noah Harasz<\/strong>, 1:28.20 to 1:28.46.<\/p>\n<p>Freshman<strong> Greg Reed\u00a0<\/strong>picked up a big win in the 1000 free for the Bulldogs, touching in 9:03.08, and Reed returned later in the day to win the 500 free in 4:26.87. As for his teammates, Acevedo won the 100 back (47.68), Guest won the 100 breast (54.34), and Murphy took the top spot in the 200 fly (1:46.23). Murphy later grabbed a second individual win on the day in the 100 fly (47.67), and\u00a0<strong>Ian Forlini<\/strong> won one-meter diving (329.18).<\/p>\n<p>Georgia Tech freshman <strong>Ca<\/strong><strong>io Pumputis\u00a0<\/strong>picked up wins\u00a0in the 200 free (1:36.12) and 200 breast (1:56.88), while Harasz won the 50 free (20.63) and Correia edged out Acevedo, 44.43 to 44.45, to win the 100 free.\u00a0<strong>Matt Casillas\u00a0<\/strong>took first in three-meter diving (369.00).<\/p>\n<p>U.S. Olympian and Georgia senior\u00a0<strong>Jay Litherland<\/strong> grabbed first in the 200 back in 1:47.00.
