NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana, October 15. NORTH Texas won its opening dual meet of the season, defeating Tulane 175-123 in New Orleans on Saturday. The Mean Green have now won three straight dual meets against Tulane.<\/p>\n
Mona Groteguth lowered her time from the Green and White Meet by over two seconds in the 100 yard backstroke, posting a 57.76 to win the event, just over a second and a half off the school record. The freshman is already the seventh-leading performer in school history.<\/p>\n
Krista Rossum won the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:04.85, topping her time in the Green and White game, and is the 7th-fastest time in school history, just over a second off of Hannah Bakke's school record.<\/p>\n
The Mean Green return to the Pohl Recreation Center on Saturday, October 22, as they host New Mexico State at 11 a.m.<\/p>\n
