Sitka scored 86 points to finish third, well ahead of the rest of the field. The Thunder Mountain boys scored 94 points, just better than Dimond&#8217;s 91 points. In third was Kodiak with 64 points.<\/p>\n<h2>Girls<\/h2>\n<p>Dimond high school was led by <strong>Jessica Davis\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Erin Moody<\/strong>. Moody won the 100 freestyle in 52.91 and was second in the 200 with a 1:54.91. Joining her in the top three of the 100 was teammate\u00a0<strong>Emma Cegelka\u00a0<\/strong>(54.19) with bronze. Touching second was Lathrop&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Katy McCarther\u00a0<\/strong>(53.70). Kodiak&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Marina Cummiskey\u00a0<\/strong>won the 200 free (1:53.22). Cummiskey also won the 100 fly (57.77).<\/p>\n<p>Davis won the 200 IM with a 2:11.00, just faster than South Anchorage&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Summer Cheng\u00a0<\/strong>(2:11.47). David added a second gold in the 100 back (58.81).<\/p>\n<p>In a close race, Sitka won the 200 freestyle relay over Dimond.\u00a0<strong>Whitney McArther<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Kyleigh McArthur<\/strong>,\u00a0Davis, and\u00a0<strong>Skylar Moore\u00a0<\/strong>touched in 1:39.26 while Moody,\u00a0<strong>Breckynn Willis<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Tatum Willis<\/strong>, and Cegelka were a tenth back in 1:39.37. Moore was the 100 breaststroke champion in 1:05.43.<\/p>\n<p>The meet&#8217;s opening 200 medley relay was even closer. Kodiak&#8217;s Cumminskey,\u00a0<strong>Leslie Spear<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Devon Cummiskey<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Hannah Glover\u00a0<\/strong>stopped the clock in 1:49.22 and Sitka&#8217;s Davis, Whitney McArthur,\u00a0<strong>Sophia Schwantes<\/strong>, and Moore posted a 1:49.27.<\/p>\n<p>Dimond had two in the top three of the 500 free.\u00a0<strong>Camryn Williams<\/strong> (5:23.30) and\u00a0<strong>Emi Soldwel\u00a0<\/strong>(5:24.52) were first and third. Sanwhiched between them was\u00a0<strong>Grace Harang\u00a0<\/strong>(5:24.28) of Sitka.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wanlaya Jarupakorn\u00a0<\/strong>of Bartlett topped the 50 free in 24.60.\u00a0Palmer&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Chloe Hartman\u00a0<\/strong>won one meter diving with a score of 380.95.<\/p>\n<p>Dimond ended the meet with a dominant 400 freestyle relay victory. Cegelka,\u00a0<strong>Mikayla Terry<\/strong>, Breckynn Willia, and Moody touched in 3:37.33.<\/p>\n<h2>Boys<\/h2>\n<p>Thunder Mountain won the 200 medley relay by a solid margin.\u00a0<strong>Casey Hamilton<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Bergen Davis<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Spencer Holt<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Chris Ray\u00a0<\/strong>touched in 1:36.47.<\/p>\n<p>Davis and Hamilton finished second (1:53.07) and third (1:53.21) in the 200 IM behind Kodiak&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Talon Lindquist<\/strong>. Lindquist lowered his own 2014 state record of 1:52.01 with a 1:51.93 in prelims and a 1:50.08 in finals.<\/p>\n<p>Hamilton later won the 100 back (51.10), just faster than\u00a0<strong>Jake Simmons\u00a0<\/strong>(51.17) of Colony High School. Davis took 100 breaststroke gold in 57.42, narrowly beating Eagle River&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>John Heaphy\u00a0<\/strong>(57.68). Lathrop&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Alex Suleimani\u00a0<\/strong>also cleared a minute (58.61).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Maximus Addington\u00a0<\/strong>of Dimond High School won the 200 free in 1:41.67. Suleimani (1:42.09) and Holt (1:42.26) took silver and bronze.<\/p>\n<p>Thunder Mountain teammates\u00a0<strong>Raymie Matiashowski\u00a0<\/strong>(4:52.62) and Ray (4:54.26) took gold and silver in the 500 free.<\/p>\n<p>Dimond High School emerged from the pack in the 200 freestyle relay with Addington,\u00a0<strong>Jesse Tatakis<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Nate Flores<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Reed Dittlinger\u00a0<\/strong>in 1:26.35.
