The Sharks scored 350 points. The battle for second place between Pine Crest and Saint Andrew&#8217;s came down to the final relay. Saint Andrew&#8217;s secured runner up honors with 202 points while Trinity Prep ended the meet in third with 193 points.<\/p>\n<p>The Bolles boys started the meet just like their girls&#8217; team- with a narrow relay victory.\u00a0<strong>Jake Adcock<\/strong>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/bolles-jake-adcock-gives-verbal-nod-to-florida-state-for-2018-2019-season\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">who is verbally committed to Florida State<\/a>,\u00a0<strong>Paul DeGrado<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Ariel Spektor<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Ansen Meyer\u00a0<\/strong>touched in 1:31.58. Saint Andrew&#8217;s was second in 1:31.86 with\u00a0<strong>Joshua Balbi<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Izaak Bastian<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Jesse Marsh<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Tiago Pereira<\/strong>. Finishing third was\u00a0<strong>Elvis Kotikovski<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Jacob Silberman<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Nicholas Vale<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Nico Ferrara\u00a0<\/strong>for Pine Crest in 1:33.15.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/florida-1a-state-champion-hayden-curley-verbally-commits-to-louisville\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Future Louisville Cardinal<\/a>\u00a0<strong>Hayden Curley\u00a0<\/strong>won the 200 and 500 free. He took the 200 in 1:37.81. Also under 1:40 were St. Edwards&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Coleman Kramer\u00a0<\/strong>(1:39.36) and University School&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Daniel Jacobs\u00a0<\/strong>(1:39.37).\u00a0In the 500 Curley touched in 4:21.92. Jacobs and Kramer swapped spots finishing second in 4:28.38 and third in 4:30.60.<\/p>\n<p>Spektor, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/bolles-ariel-spektor-gives-early-verbal-to-usc-trojans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">who verbally committed to USC<\/a>\u00a0in May, topped the 200 IM in 1:47.25. University School senior\u00a0<strong>Patrick Groters\u00a0<\/strong>was also under 1:50 in 1:49.02. Spektor&#8217;s teammate\u00a0Degrado (1:51.42) picked up a bronze. Spektor also won the 100 fly (48.20), just two tenths ahead of\u00a0<strong>Cole Crane\u00a0<\/strong>of Episcopal School. He&#8217;d just hopped out of the 50 free, which he won in 20.40.\u00a0Saint Andrews&#8217; Bastian grabbed another silver with his 20.56. Monteverde sophomore\u00a0<strong>L. De Oliveira\u00a0<\/strong>was third (20.85).\u00a0Ferrara, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/four-more-to-virginia-justin-grender-oliver-rus-nico-ferrara-jake-greenberg\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a UVA commit<\/a>, touched fourth (20.91).<\/p>\n<p>Trinity Prep snagged first and second in the 100 free with\u00a0<strong>Luke Uttley\u00a0<\/strong>(45.35) and <strong>Jan<\/strong><strong>\u00a0Collazo Torres\u00a0<\/strong>(45.54). Ferrara (45.60) was on their heels.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Luke Uttley<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Matthew Degtyar<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Reese Gawronski<\/strong>, and\u00a0Collazo Torres\u00a0of Trinity Prep won the 200 freestyle relay with a 1:23.64. Saint Andrew&#8217;s&#8217; Bastin, Pereira,\u00a0<strong>Sam Gibson<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Tomas Piza\u00a0<\/strong>touched second (1:24.73). Wrapping up the top three was\u00a0<strong>John Pare<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Ansen Meyer<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Zi Win Lim<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Ethan Thomas\u00a0<\/strong>of Bolles with a 1:25.22.<\/p>\n<p>Groters swam a 50.23 to take 100 back gold. Out-of-Door senior\u00a0<strong>Martin Baffico\u00a0<\/strong>(50.68) and King&#8217;s Academy&#8217;s eight grader\u00a0<strong>Josh Zuchowski,<\/strong>\u00a0a multiple event National Age Group record holder,<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>(50.74) were second and third.<\/p>\n<p>Bastain powered to a 54.54 100 breaststroke. The senior came up just shy of the 54.33 State record. Bolles&#8217; DeGrado went a 54.90 to finish second.\u00a0<strong>Ryaan Hatoum\u00a0<\/strong>of Berkeley placed third (56.65).<\/p>\n<p>The team of Uttley, Degtyar, Gawronski, and Collazo Torres won the 400 freestyle relay for Trinity Prep in 3:03.03. Placing second with a 3:04.10 was Spektor, Adcock, <strong>John Pate<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Noah Emerson<\/strong>, for Bolles.
