{"id":282306,"date":"2017-10-30T18:12:29","date_gmt":"2017-10-31T01:12:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/?p=282306"},"modified":"2017-10-30T18:12:29","modified_gmt":"2017-10-31T01:12:29","slug":"fina-diving-grand-prix-wraps-up-in-kuala-lumpur","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/fina-diving-grand-prix-wraps-up-in-kuala-lumpur\/","title":{"rendered":"FINA Diving Grand Prix Wraps Up In Kuala Lumpur"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>China, Japan, Korea and Malaysia were the four nations climbing on the first step of the podium this weekend in Kuala Lumpur (MAS), where the sixth leg of the annual <a href=\"http:\/\/fina.org\/event\/fina-diving-grand-prix-2017\" target=\"_blank\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?hl=en&amp;q=http:\/\/fina.org\/event\/fina-diving-grand-prix-2017&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1509497667191000&amp;usg=AFQjCNHPpGb0VGpi9KzvYOHHk4RiBqewQQ\">FINA Diving Grand Prix<\/a> was taking place from October 27-29.<\/p>\n<p>The host country claimed victory in the women&#8217;s 10m synchronised event with Olympic medallist <strong>Pandelela Rinong<\/strong> (311.28) as well as the mixed equivalent (310.20) with a duet formed by <strong>Jellson Jabillin<\/strong> \/ <strong>Cheong Jun Hoong<\/strong>. Malaysia also added two silver medals to its men&#8217;s tally, as well as a silver medal in the women&#8217;s 10m and two more in the mixed events.<\/p>\n<p>China&#8217;s <strong>Tai Xiaohu<\/strong> was the best in the men&#8217;s 10m platform (506.00), while <strong>Wang Han<\/strong> (342.60) and <strong>Zhang Jiaqi<\/strong> (409.85) topped the women&#8217;s 3 and 10m respectively.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Woo Haram<\/strong> of Korea gave his country the gold medal in the men&#8217;s 3m (479.35) as well as the 3m synchro and the 10m synchro golds together with <strong>Kim Yeongnam<\/strong> (427.65 and 432.60).<\/p>\n<p>Japan took the gold at stake in both the women&#8217;s 3m synchro with <strong>Miyamoto Hazuki<\/strong> \/ <strong>Mikami Sayaka<\/strong> (272.40) and the mixed springboard with <strong>Nishida Reo<\/strong> \/ Miyamoto Hazuki (275.34).<\/p>\n<p>Australia, Belarus and Great Britain were other nations leaving Kuala Lumpur with a medal.<\/p>\n<p>The last two meets of the circuit will be held in Singapore on <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_27925713\"><span class=\"aQJ\">November 2-5<\/span><\/span> and in Gold Coast on <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_27925714\"><span class=\"aQJ\">November 9-11<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><b>Medallists in Kuala Lumpur<\/b><i> (<a href=\"http:\/\/fina.org\/event\/fina-diving-grand-prix-2017-6\/results\" target=\"_blank\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?hl=en&amp;q=http:\/\/fina.org\/event\/fina-diving-grand-prix-2017-6\/results&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1509497667191000&amp;usg=AFQjCNG224sGCqwFr-UmnWHokSNGXYAqyg\">all detailed<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/fina.org\/event\/fina-diving-grand-prix-2017-6\/results\" target=\"_blank\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?hl=en&amp;q=http:\/\/fina.org\/event\/fina-diving-grand-prix-2017-6\/results&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1509497667191000&amp;usg=AFQjCNG224sGCqwFr-UmnWHokSNGXYAqyg\"> results<\/a>)<\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>Men<\/i><br \/>\n3m &#8211; 1.
