Two state titles\u00a0will be awarded in each event with a Class 1 (1A-4A) and a Class 2 (5A-6A) champion.<\/p>\n<h2>Class 1<\/h2>\n<p>The girls from St. Joseph Catholic School hold the top seed in each of the three relays. <strong>Emma Adkins<\/strong>\u00a0leads the way for the team with top seeds in the 50 and 100 free. Her teammate<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Anna Chris Nicholas\u00a0<\/strong>is\u00a0top seed in the 200 free and a third seed in the 100 back.<\/p>\n<p>The boys from St. Joseph Catholic do not appear as dominant as their female teammates, though they do claim the top seed in the 200 medley relay. The school&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>JC Dorroh\u00a0<\/strong>is top seed in the 200 free. He&#8217;s also entered well ahead of the competition in the 500 freestyle.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Christian McKee\u00a0<\/strong>from St. Patrick Catholic High School has the top spot in the 200 IM. He&#8217;s third in the 100 back.\u00a0<strong>Jack Smithson\u00a0<\/strong>of St. Andrews Episcopal School leads the 100 back by a significant margin. He also looks set to dominate the 100 fly.<\/p>\n<h2>Class 2<\/h2>\n<p>Madison Central and Tupelo have set themselves up for a tight race in the girls 200 medley relay. That race could set the tone for the meet. Madison Central appears poised to swim away from the field in the 200 freestyle relay, yet the teams are seeded right with one another in the 400 free relay.<\/p>\n<p>Tupelo&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Celeste Turner\u00a0<\/strong>leads the way in the 200 free and 100 fly, both by significant margins. Madison Central&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Mallory Dickey\u00a0<\/strong>is entered first in the 200 IM, though Turner&#8217;s teammate\u00a0<strong>Mattie Hughes\u00a0<\/strong>is on her heels. Dickey and teammate\u00a0<strong>Cassie Howell\u00a0<\/strong>are seeded one-two in the 100 back. Hughes&#8217; second entry comes in the 500 free where she has the top seed just ahead of Tupelo&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Ella Gibbs<\/strong>. Howell has the fastest entry in the 50 free.<\/p>\n<p>On the boys&#8217; side, Tupelo is seeded three seconds ahead of the next best team in the 200 medley and 200 and 400 freestyle relays. Leading the charge for Tupelo is\u00a0<strong>Donovan Crossen\u00a0<\/strong>with top seeds in the 100 and 200 frees.<\/p>\n<p>Brandon High School&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Khameron Glass\u00a0<\/strong>has a dominant seven second lead in the 100 backstroke rankings. He&#8217;s also entered first in the 50 free. Center Hill High School&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Taylor Williams\u00a0<\/strong>clears a minute with his top ranked 100 breaststroke.
