Biola is new to Division II. The swim team competes in the Pacific Collegiate Swim and Dive Conference (PCSC).<\/p>\n<p>Pascoe is a three time Team MVP and League MVP. She&#8217;s also been named All-Conference all three years of high school as she&#8217;s been a three year CIF Sac-Joaquin Sections finalist. She holds four league records.\u00a0Pascoe&#8217;s best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>50 Free 25.11<\/li>\n<li>100 Free 53.73<\/li>\n<li>200 Free 1:56.91<\/li>\n<li>100 Back 1:00.29<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Pascoe would have been a 200 freestyle B finalist at last year&#8217;s Conference Championships, and Biola&#8217;s highest finisher.\u00a0Junior\u00a0<strong>Lisa Tixier\u00a0<\/strong>won the\u00a050 and 100 free in 2017.\u00a0Pascoe will add some much needed depth to the sprint group.\u00a0Biola had just two swimmers in the 50 freestyle at last year&#8217;s Championships. Pascoe would have finished 32nd in the\u00a0event, where the conference swims through an E final. In the 100 free Pascoe&#8217;s best time would have been good for 23rd last year. Freshman\u00a0<strong>Emily Silzel\u00a0<\/strong>(53.88) was the highest finishing Eagle who will still be on the roster for Pascoe&#8217;s arrival. Pascoe would also finish in the 100 back C final.<\/p>\n<p>She told\u00a0<em>Swimming World<\/em>,<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;I chose Biola University because it felt like home the minute I stepped on campus. The coaches and team were super welcoming. I know Biola is a place I can be successful academically, athletically, and spiritually. I look forward to spending the next four years at BU!
