At the gala, two-time Olympian\u00a0<strong>Katie Ledecky<\/strong>\u00a0was crowned the 2017 Sportswoman of the Year in the individual sport category.<\/p>\n<p>The Sportswoman of the Year award is presented annually to female athletes who have exhibited supreme athletic performance and have distinguished themselves within their sport.
