The second weekly CAA swimming and diving awards of the season were announced on Wednesday
\nwith four student-athletes honored.<\/p>\n
Towson swept the respective Men\u2019s and Women\u2019s Swimmer of the Week awards as junior Jack Saunderson and senior
\nJacy Icard were recognized, while UNCW swept the weekly diving honors after freshman Seth O\u2019Dea and junior Adyson
\nLowe impressed on both boards over the weekend.<\/p>\n
MEN\u2019S SWIMMER OF THE WEEK: Jack Saunderson \u2022 Towson<\/strong><\/p>\n Junior\u00a0| Laurel, Md.<\/strong><\/p>\n Saunderson opened his junior campaign with a pair of wins in his go-to events, the 100 and 200-yard butterfly, as the MEN\u2019S DIVER OF THE WEEK: Seth O\u2019Dea \u2022 UNCW<\/strong><\/p>\n Freshman\u00a0| Fairfax, Va.<\/strong><\/p>\n O\u2019Dea helped UNCW defeat Old Dominion over the weekend at home, earning wins on both boards for the Seahawks. \nTigers came up just short in their season opener at Georgetown. The defending CAA Men\u2019s Swimmer of the Year and
\n2017 title holder in both individual fly events timed 49.15 in the 100, and 1:47.47 in the 200, with his latter time currently
\nranking second in all of Division I for the event so far this season.<\/p>\n
\nThe freshman scored 252.62 on the 1-meter and 291.90 on the 3-meter en route to winning his first career weekly CAA
\nhonor.<\/p>\n
\nwinning two individual races along with swimming a leg on the Tigers\u2019 winning 200-yard medley relay team (1:47.03). She
\ncaptured first place in the 100 back in 57.41 and completed the 200 back with a winning time of 2:05.26. Icard\u2019s
\nperformance in the 200 currently leads all CAA competitors for the event.<\/p>\n
\nThe junior turned in a second-place finish on the 1-meter (247.57) and won the 3-meter with a score of 279.75.<\/p>\n
