Abbie Dolan<\/strong> of Notre Dame has been named the ACC Women\u2019s Swimmer of the Week, and North Carolina\u2019s Maria Lohman<\/strong> has been selected as the Women\u2019s Diver of the Week. On the men\u2019s side, Zachary<\/strong> Yeadon<\/strong> of the Irish has been tabbed as the ACC Men\u2019s Swimmer of the Week, and the Tar Heels\u2019 Sean Burston<\/strong> garnered Men\u2019s Diver of the Week honors.<\/p>\n

Dolan, a sophomore from Sunfish Lake, Minnesota, helped Notre Dame defeat No. 9 Louisville, 181.5-118.5, for the program\u2019s first-ever top-10 dual meet win. The Irish swimmer won five of the seven meets in which she raced, including all three of her individual events. Dolan posted times of 22.98 in the 50 free, 48.94 in the 100 free and 1:46.12 in the 200 free, all NCAA B cuts and times that rank in the top five nationally for each event.<\/p>\n

Lohman placed first in both the 1-meter and 3-meter events at North Carolina\u2019s meet against No. 4 Georgia. The junior from Pittsburgh posted a 294.45 on the 1-meter, and a 323.63 on the 3-meter.<\/p>\n

Yeaden was key in Notre Dame\u2019s win over No. 7 Louisville, the first-ever top-10 dual meet victory for the team. The freshman from San Antonio placed first in the 500 free with a time of 4:21.66, an NCAA B cut and the fastest time in the country, and first in the 1000 free with a time of 9:02.47, the third-fastest time nationally. Yeadon also placed second with his time in the 800 free relay and the 1500 free relay during the Dennis Stark Relays.<\/p>\n

Burston earned gold in both the 1-meter and 3-meter competitions for North Carolina against No. 8 Georgia. The senior from Stamford, Connecticut, recorded a 376.20 on the 1-meter, and a 378.53 on the 3-meter.<\/p>\n
