Pascoe also set world records in the the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/sophie-pascoe-takes-down-two-more-world-records-in-new-zealand\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">100 IM (1:05.01)<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/national-para-world-nag-records-fall-on-day-2-of-2017-new-zealand-sc-champs\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">200 IM (2:21.45)<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/sophie-pascoe-takes-down-two-more-world-records-in-new-zealand\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">50 free (27.22)<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/sophie-pascoe-lowers-two-world-records-on-day-1-of-2017-new-zealand-sc-champs\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">200 free (2:06.58)<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/sophie-pascoe-lowers-two-world-records-on-day-1-of-2017-new-zealand-sc-champs\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">50 fly (28.42)<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> during the meet, a competition she wasn\u2019t even planning to attend until a few weeks ago when it was announced <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/ipc-postpones-world-para-swimming-championships\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the IPC World Champs were postponed<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Speaking on her accomplishments after the meet, she explained that she hopes to use her performances to inspire other para swimmers on the same basis as any athlete: \u201cIt\u2019s not about being an inspiration for your disability, it\u2019s about being an inspiration through hard
