NEW COMMITS:\u00a0<\/strong>Sonora Baker<\/strong>, a freestyler and backstroker from Mechancisville, Virginia has verbally committed to swim for the College of William and Mary beginning in the 2018-2019 season. She joins\u00a0Rebecca Rogers<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>in the Tribe Women’s Class of 2022.<\/p>\n

A USA Swimming Scholastic All-American, Baker swims for Poseidon Swimming, home of two other verbal commitments for the Class of 2018: South Carolina bound\u00a0Phil Costin<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Garrison Johnson<\/a>.\u00a0<\/strong>Baker is a senior at Atlee High School.<\/p>\n

“William & Mary is an incredible school and I know it will adequately prepare me for life after college. The coaches are great, the team is awesome, and the training style is a great fit for me. I cannot wait to be a part of The Tribe for the next four years!”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
