A team that includes some U.S. Olympians from 2016 and members of this summer&#8217;s World Championships team, will compete against Pac-12 All-Stars.<\/p>\n<p>Ironically, the likes of\u00a0<strong>Katie Ledecky<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Simone Manuel\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Kathleen Baker\u00a0<\/strong>will be competing\u00a0<em>against\u00a0<\/em>the American team, which includes\u00a0<strong>Melanie Margalis<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Madisyn Cox<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Regan Smith\u00a0<\/strong>and recent Pac-12 grad\u00a0<strong>Lia Neal\u00a0<\/strong>off the World Champs team.<\/p>\n<p>The U.S. men&#8217;s team includes\u00a0<strong>Jack Conger<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Matt Grevers<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Cody Miller\u00a0<\/strong>and recent Pac-12 graduates\u00a0<strong>Ryan Murphy<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Jacob Pebley\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Josh Prenot<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Check out the USA Swimming press release below for more information about the meet. The Saturday, Oct. 21 session will begin at 6 p.m. Pacific, followed by the Sunday, Oct. 22 session at 11 a.m. Tickets are on sale now at\u00a0<a style=\"color: #008000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.usaswimming.org\/utility\/college-challenge-tickets\" target=\"_blank\">usaswimming.org<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Headlining the National Team roster will be last two Olympic champions in the men\u2019s 100-meter backstroke,\u00a0<strong>Matt Grevers<\/strong>\u00a0(Lake Forest, Ill.\/Tucson Ford Dealers Aquatics) and\u00a0<strong>Ryan Murphy<\/strong>\u00a0(Jacksonville, Fla.\/California Aquatics). Eleven U.S. Olympians will compete for the National Team, including fellow 2016 individual medalists\u00a0<strong>Cody Miller<\/strong>\u00a0(Las Vegas, Nev.\/Badger Swim Club) and\u00a0<strong>Josh Prenot<\/strong>\u00a0(Santa Monica, Calif.\/California Aquatics).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">On the Pac-12 side, the Stanford duo of\u00a0<strong>Katie Ledecky<\/strong>\u00a0(Bethesda, Md.\/Stanford Swimming) and\u00a0<strong>Simone Manuel<\/strong>\u00a0(Sugar Land, Texas\/Stanford Swimming) lead the roster along with 2016 Olympic teammates\u00a0<strong>Kathleen Baker\u00a0<\/strong>(Winston-Salem, N.C.\/California Aquatics) and\u00a0<strong>Abbey Weitzeil<\/strong>\u00a0(Saugus, Calif.\/California Aquatics).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Full rosters for both teams can be found at\u00a0<a style=\"color: #008000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.usaswimming.org\/utility\/event-pages\/event-detail\/2017\/10\/21\/default-calendar\/college-challenge\">usaswimming.org<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Pac-12 Networks will provide exclusive broadcast coverage of the event. Specific channel and broadcaster information for the Saturday, Oct. 21 session will be announced at a later date, while the Sunday, Oct. 22 session will air live nationally on Pac-12 Network as well as on Pac-12 Arizona and Pac-12 Los Angeles. Both sessions will also be available to stream live for authenticated Pac-12 Networks subscribers via the Pac-12 Now app and\u00a0<a style=\"color: #008000;\" href=\"http:\/\/pac-12.com\/\">Pac-12.com<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Each athlete may be entered in up to six races during the meet, including individual events and relays.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">A running score will be kept throughout the dual meet competition combining the points earned by both women and men.
