The big storyline headed into Sunday night is the clash between Hosszu and <strong>Sarah Sjostrom<\/strong> in the 100 IM final as two of the best female swimmers in the world will be going head to head for the first time in Hong Kong. Hosszu had the upper hand in the prelims this morning.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Today&#8217;s events:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Women&#8217;s 100 Free<\/li>\n<li>Men&#8217;s 200 Free<\/li>\n<li>Women&#8217;s 50 Breast<\/li>\n<li>Men&#8217;s 100 Breast<\/li>\n<li>Men&#8217;s 100 Fly<\/li>\n<li>Women&#8217;s 100 Back<\/li>\n<li>Men&#8217;s 50 Back<\/li>\n<li>Men&#8217;s 200 IM<\/li>\n<li>Women&#8217;s 400 Free<\/li>\n<li>Men&#8217;s 50 Free<\/li>\n<li>Women&#8217;s 200 Breast<\/li>\n<li>Women&#8217;s 100 IM<\/li>\n<li>Men&#8217;s 200 Back<\/li>\n<li>Women&#8217;s 50 Fly<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Women&#8217;s 100 Free<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Femke Heemskerk<\/strong> had the fastest 100 free of the morning with a 54.07\u00a0 on Sunday morning at the Hong Kong World Cup stop. Heemskerk leads Hong Kong&#8217;s <strong>Hang Yu Sze<\/strong> (54.81) and <strong>Camille Cheng<\/strong> (54.87). Two other swimmers had direct access to the final tonight via the new World Cup rules, which explains why there are only 6 Q&#8217;s on the results summary. Stolk is ahead of Russian <strong>Daniil Pasnykov<\/strong> (1:48.13) and American <strong>Tom Shields<\/strong> (1:48.40). Pedersen is fresh off a silver medal in the 100 breast last night and is coming off a disappointing summer where she failed to get out of semi-finals in both Olympic distances. Pedersen leads <strong>Rainbow Ip<\/strong> of Hong Kong (32.55). He is seeded ahead of Russian <strong>Kirill Prigoda<\/strong> (58.68), who got the bronze in this event in Budapest. Belarus&#8217; <strong>Ilya Shymanovich<\/strong> is third at 59.07. Hosszu is first ahead of <strong>Maaike de Waard<\/strong> (59.28) and China&#8217;s <strong>Chen Jie<\/strong> (1:00.47).
