NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Gaithersburg, Maryland’s\u00a0Eli Fouts\u00a0<\/strong>has given his verbal commitment to the University of Wisconsin- Madison. He’ll suit up for the Badgers next fall along with\u00a0Frank Niziolek<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Erik Gessner<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A NISCA All-American and USA Swimming Scholastic All-American, Fouts is a senior at Quince Orchard High School and swims for Rockville Montgomery Swim Club.<\/p>\n

He wrote,<\/p>\n

“I am proud to announce my verbal commitment to the University of Wisconsin. Thank you to my family, coaches and friends for holding me accountable to my training, school and decision making. I couldn’t have done it without these people. #OnWisconsin”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

He ended his long course season at NCSA Summer Juniors where he finished fourth in the 100 breaststroke.<\/p>\n
