Residents and businesses in Barbados are already involved in relief efforts for neighboring islands, donating critical supplies and money, in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma.<\/p>\n<p>Plans are on track for the sixth<strong>\u00a0Barbados Open Water Festival<\/strong>\u00a0in Carlisle Bay.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong><u><span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_161053282\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Saturday Nov 4 at 9am<\/span><\/span><\/u><\/strong><\/em>: 1.5K race and &#8220;Just for Fun&#8221; 1.5K. \u00a0The &#8220;Just for Fun&#8221; 1.5K supports the\u00a0<strong>Variety Club of Barbados<\/strong>\u00a0(Children&#8217;s Charity) and is meant for swimmers of any age who are not interested in competing or being timed. \u00a0Swim aids are also allowed for the &#8220;Just for Fun&#8221; 1.5K.<br \/>\n<u><em><strong><span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_161053283\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Sunday Nov 5\u00a0at 9am<\/span><\/span>:<\/strong><\/em><\/u>\u00a03.3K, 5K and 10K races.<br \/>\nPrize giving immediately following the races each day.
