NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Louisville will once again have a Worrell on its roster beginning next fall.\u00a0Kyle Worrell<\/strong> has given his verbal commitment to follow in his sister\u00a0Kelsi<\/strong>‘s footsteps and swim for the Cards. His other older sister\u00a0Taylor\u00a0<\/strong>is also a Division I swimmer at the University of South Carolina.<\/p>\n

Worrell swims with the YMCA of Burlington & Camden County and is a senior at Mount Holly, New Jersey’s Rancocas Valley Regional High School.<\/p>\n

Worrell tends towards the sprints like his older Cardinal sister, though he’s still fairly versatile across strokes. His top times include:<\/p>\n

100 Fly 49.52<\/li>\n
50 Back 23.49<\/li>\n
100 Back 50.25<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
A two time USA Swimming Scholastic All-American, Worrell was a multiple event finalist at 2017 YMCA Short Course Nationals<\/a>. He finished as high as sixth in both the 100 free and 100 fly.<\/p>\n
He joins verbal commits\u00a0Colton Paulson<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Hayden Curley<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>in the men’s Class of 2022.<\/p>\n
