The exhibition meet will consist of relays and is set to begin at <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_2109806074\"><span class=\"aQJ\">5 p.m.<\/span><\/span> All events will be non-scored.<\/div>\n<div id=\"m_1429526642853294478divtagdefaultwrapper\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"m_1429526642853294478divtagdefaultwrapper\">This meet will not count towards the Deseret Duel, which will take place on <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_2109806075\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Jan. 27, 2018<\/span><\/span> in Provo.<\/div>\n<div id=\"m_1429526642853294478divtagdefaultwrapper\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"m_1429526642853294478divtagdefaultwrapper\">Utah\u2019s men\u2019s and women\u2019s teams both open the regular season with Pac-12 meets against Cal at Ute Natatorium. The women will take on the No. 2 Golden Bears on <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_2109806076\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Monday, Oct. 9 at 3:30 p.m.<\/span><\/span> and the men will host the No. 1 ranked team in the nation on\u00a0<span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_2109806077\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Saturday, Oct. 14<\/span><\/span>.<\/div>\n<h3><b>Magnificent Seven Qualify for NCAA Championships<\/b><\/h3>\n<div id=\"m_1429526642853294478divtagdefaultwrapper\">Utah sent seven athletes to the 2017 NCAA Championships. Stina Colleou, Genevieve Robertson and diver Amanda Casillas represented the women\u2019s team while Daniel McArthur, Austin Phillips, Paul Ungur and diver Josiah Purss were the men\u2019s quartet.<\/div>\n<div id=\"m_1429526642853294478divtagdefaultwrapper\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"m_1429526642853294478divtagdefaultwrapper\">Colleou, making her fourth appearance at the NCAA\u2019s, and Robertson, both swam in the 100 and 200 breast, while Casillas competed in the one-meter and platform event.<\/div>\n<div id=\"m_1429526642853294478divtagdefaultwrapper\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"m_1429526642853294478divtagdefaultwrapper\">Phillips and McArthur, first time competitors at the NCAA&#8217;s, both swam in the 200 IM and 200 back. McArthur also achieved a PR in the 100 back and Phillips participated in the 200 free.<\/div>\n<div id=\"m_1429526642853294478divtagdefaultwrapper\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"m_1429526642853294478divtagdefaultwrapper\">Ungur set a new PR in the 50 free and finished in the top 25 of the 100 back.<\/div>\n<div id=\"m_1429526642853294478divtagdefaultwrapper\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"m_1429526642853294478divtagdefaultwrapper\">Purss participated in the one-meter and platform events.<\/div>\n<h3 id=\"m_1429526642853294478divtagdefaultwrapper\"><b>Men Set Eight School Records At Pac-12\u2019s <\/b><\/h3>\n<div id=\"m_1429526642853294478divtagdefaultwrapper\">To start things off, the 200 medley relay team of \u00a0Ungur, Jack Burton, Colten Montgomery, and McKay King finished the event in 1:25.45, almost a full two seconds faster than the previous mark set at the 2015 Pac-12 Championships.<\/div>\n<div id=\"m_1429526642853294478divtagdefaultwrapper\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"m_1429526642853294478divtagdefaultwrapper\">Burton would later break two more school records. In the 200 breast, he touched in at 1:55.69 to win the &#8220;B&#8221; final, while in the 100 breast, he came away with a time of 53.35.<\/div>\n<div id=\"m_1429526642853294478divtagdefaultwrapper\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"m_1429526642853294478divtagdefaultwrapper\">In the 200 back, McArthur finished seventh overall and broke the school record with a time of 1:41.66 in the prelims. He also recorded a new record in the 200 IM as he touched in at 1:44.86.<\/div>\n<div id=\"m_1429526642853294478divtagdefaultwrapper\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"m_1429526642853294478divtagdefaultwrapper\">Ben Scott also set a new school mark in the 200 fly with a time of 1:45.01 during the prelims and then finished 14th overall. Phillips swam a 1:34.20 in the prelims for the 200 free, finishing eighth and capturing the school record.<\/div>\n<div id=\"m_1429526642853294478divtagdefaultwrapper\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"m_1429526642853294478divtagdefaultwrapper\">In the 100 back, Ungur broke the school record touching in at 46.31 to finish seventh.<\/div>\n<h3 id=\"m_1429526642853294478divtagdefaultwrapper\"><b>Women Takes Seventh At Pac-12\u2019s<\/b><\/h3>\n<div id=\"m_1429526642853294478divtagdefaultwrapper\">Jordan Anderson won the &#8220;C&#8221; final of the 400 IM with a time of 4:12.02, setting a new school record. She also placed fourth in the &#8220;C&#8221; final of the 500 free (4:46.98), 20th overall, and won the \u201cC\u201d final of the 200 fly (1:58.16).<\/div>\n<div id=\"m_1429526642853294478divtagdefaultwrapper\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"m_1429526642853294478divtagdefaultwrapper\">In the 200 breast, Robertson placed sixth with a time of 2:10.33, a new PR.<\/div>\n<div id=\"m_1429526642853294478divtagdefaultwrapper\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"m_1429526642853294478divtagdefaultwrapper\">Mallori Allen placed 16th overall in the 100 back with a PR time of 1:58.00 in the prelims. Cassidy Stein was 19th with a 1:58.11 and Christina Pick improved three seconds on her top time of the season, wrapping up in 2:01.84.<\/div>\n<div id=\"m_1429526642853294478divtagdefaultwrapper\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"m_1429526642853294478divtagdefaultwrapper\">The 200 free relay team of Dorien Butter, Gillian St. John, Jenna Marsh and Julienne Tadena turned in a time of 1.31.66 to finish eighth.
