NEW COMMIT:<\/strong>\u00a0McAllen, Texas’\u00a0<\/strong>Shaine Casas\u00a0<\/strong>has given his verbal commitment to swim for Texas A&M beginning next fall. The National Junior Team member swims for Nitro Swimming.<\/p>\n

He told\u00a0Swimming World<\/em>,<\/p>\n

“I chose Texas A&M University because the team and coaches are so much like a family, and when I stepped foot on campus, I knew that I wanted this to be my new home. There is no doubt in my mind that this program will bring out my full potential both athletically and academically. Greatness is in A&M’s future, and I am so glad to be able to be apart of it! Gig’em!”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Swimming for McAllen High School Casas was the Texas 6A High School<\/a> state runner up in the 200 IM (1:47.59) and 100 fly (47.88) in 2017.<\/p>\n
