By the numbers, 50 percent of Swimming World&#8217;s most-read online content was written by our stellar interns. Our army of interns significantly improved our ability to cover swimming and diving events worldwide! <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We are looking for writers eager to report local swimming happenings, help with event coverage, and hone their feature writing skills. This summer\u2019s World Championships presented some thrilling storylines, and we\u2019re sure the college season will be no different. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you have someone on your college team &#8212; athlete, manager, grad assistant &#8212; interested in gaining exposure and journalism experience this season, please have them submit the following to <\/span><b>Annie Grevers <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">at <\/span><b>annieg@swimmingworld.com<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by Monday<\/span><b>, September 25<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0A brief bio including name, school, conference, major, and class.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0An aquatics-related writing sample. This may be an analysis piece, a feature story, or a training-specific article. Please shoot for between 600 and 800 words and abide by AP Style rules.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Swimming World will also accept a few interns who want to learn more about and work within social media. If interested strictly in the social media aspect of journalism, please submit your age, major, and what you hope to learn from this opportunity to <strong>Diana Pimer\u00a0<\/strong>at <strong>dianap@swimmingworld.com<\/strong><strong>\u00a0by Monday,\u00a0September 25.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This internship is conducted via email&#8211; all work can be done remotely. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">*Applicants will be notified of their selection by Monday, October 2.
