Indiana head coach\u00a0Ray Looze\u00a0<\/strong>was named the American Swim Coaches Association Coach of the Year at the organization’s banquet in Washington.<\/p>\n

Looze led the Indiana women and men to top-ten finishes at the NCAA championships this year, but most notable were his swimmers’ achievements in international waters. Looze guided\u00a0Lilly King<\/strong> to four gold medals at the FINA World Championships while also placing\u00a0Cody Miller<\/strong>,\u00a0Blake Pieroni<\/strong> and\u00a0Zane Grothe\u00a0<\/strong>on the U.S. squad.<\/p>\n

Looze was an assistant coach on the American Olympic team coaching staff in 2016 and again was a part of the World Championships coaching staff this year.<\/p>\n
