The Engineers will be under the guidance of third-year\u00a0<strong>Mary Frances Wagley &#8217;47 Head Coach Dani Korman<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/mitathletics.com\/sports\/w-swim\/2017-18\/schedule\" target=\"_blank\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?hl=en&amp;q=http:\/\/mitathletics.com\/sports\/w-swim\/2017-18\/schedule&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1504964225563000&amp;usg=AFQjCNHaTSPxhs8tJwhYCwHwaOBPnw34EQ\"><strong>Full 2017-18 Men&#8217;s and Women&#8217;s Swimming and Diving Season Schedule<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>MIT, which finished the year ranked fourth on the men&#8217;s side and tenth on the women&#8217;s side, will square off against three nationally-ranked opponents including Williams College (No. 4 Women, No. 10 Men), NYU (No. 5 Women, No. 7 Men) and Amherst College (No. 7 Women, No. 16 Men).<\/p>\n<p>After competing in their Alumni\/ae meet on\u00a0<span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1229935879\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Saturday, October 21<\/span><\/span>, the Engineers will travel to Springfield College for a NEWMAC dual meet against the Pride on\u00a0<span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1229935880\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Saturday, November 4<\/span><\/span>. The following\u00a0<span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1229935881\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Friday<\/span><\/span>, MIT will host its first of four dual meets against Division I Cornell University inside the Zesiger Sports and Fitness Center Pool at\u00a0<span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1229935882\"><span class=\"aQJ\">5:30 p.m.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0MIT will round out November with a trip to Division I Brown University on\u00a0<span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1229935883\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Saturday, November 11<\/span><\/span>\u00a0and will welcome WPI and Bowdoin for a meet on\u00a0<span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1229935884\"><span class=\"aQJ\">November 18<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>The second half of the schedule opens with the three-day MIT Winter Invitational which will take place in Cambridge from\u00a0<span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1229935885\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Friday, December 1 through Sunday, December 3<\/span><\/span>. After the Invite, the Engineers will return to dual meet action against the U.S. Coast Guard Academy at home on\u00a0<span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1229935886\"><span class=\"aQJ\">January 13<\/span><\/span>, travel to Williams College for a meet with the Ephs and NYU, host Division I Boston College and wrap up senior day with a dual at home against Amherst College.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of February, MIT will host the four-day NEWMAC Championship as the men&#8217;s team will be competing for their 10th straight title and the women&#8217;s team will by vying for their eighth straight No. 1 finish.
