THE USA Swimming Sectionals in Clovis concluded with three more long course meter meet records going into the ledger.<\/p>\n<p>Chase Bloch lowered the men&#39;s 100 back meet record with a 56.83.  That swim eclipsed the 57.12 set by Vlad Morozov back in 2008.  Peter Bardessono touched second in 58.28, while Casey Fleming finished third in 58.89. <\/p>\n<p>Kasey Carlson downed the meet record in the women&#39;s 100 breast with a 1:09.84.  That effort clipped the 1:10.24 set by Lilian Alvarez in 2010.  Gretchen Jaques took second in 1:12.48, while Alvarez finished third in 1:12.52. <\/p>\n<p>Erich Peske grabbed the men&#39;s 100 fly title in a meet-record time of 54.63.  That performance bettered the 55.01 set by John Dwelley back in 2007.  Justin Lynch finished second with a 54.80, also under the former record. Lynch&#39;s time also broke the 13-14 national age group record of 55.78 held by Michael Phelps since 2000 and qualified him for the U.S. Olympic Trials at just 14 years old. Lynch first dipped under Phelps&#39; mark in prelims with a 55.54. Justin DiFederico completed the top three with a 56.17.<\/p>\n<p><b>Video of men&#39;s 100 fly final (Lynch in lane four)<\/b><\/p>\n<p><iframe width=400 height=249 src=http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/zaLHRg-xb5w frameborder=0 allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Lindsay Engel won the women&#39;s 100 back in 1:04.53, while Nina Hayes took second in 1:04.77.  Devin Madsen wound up third in 1:05.42. Scott Weltz took home the men&#39;s 100 breast in 1:03.27, while Egan Gans placed second in 1:04.33. Nathan LeRoy rounded out the top three in 1:05.03. <\/p>\n<p>Jessica Heim claimed the women&#39;s 1500 free in 17:10.12, while Erin Emery finished second in 17:14.72.  Kendall Brown snagged third in 17:18.61. Jordan Wilimovsky topped the men&#39;s 1500 free in 15:55.66, while Grant Schenk took second in 15:56.77. Matthew Johnson wound up third in 16:08.17. <\/p>\n<p>Christina Ray captured the women&#39;s 100 fly in 1:02.89, while Hayes Hyde touched a close second in 1:02.95.
