NEW COMMIT:<\/strong>\u00a0South Africa’s\u00a0<\/strong>Taneal Baptiste\u00a0<\/strong>has given her verbal commitment to Indiana State University. She swims for Players Swimming Club, where she trains under Coach Grant Kritzinger<\/strong>. Baptiste has been at the club since she was 12, but began to focus on swimming at age 14 when she dropped netball.<\/p>\n

Baptiste was the 2014 and 2015 South African Junior National Champion in the 200 and 400 freestyles and also won the 100 free in 2014. She attends Cornwall Hill College in Pretoria. She has also made appearances<\/a> in the FINA World Cup at stops in Doha and Dubai.<\/p>\n
