The competition begins at 9:30am EST.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/vmrw8k5h.tinifycdn.com\/results\/pdf\/day-6-prelims-heat-sheets-2017-fina-world-juniors-day-6-international-elite-2017-08-23.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Click here to view the full heat sheet.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0final day of prelims will be a long day of 200&#8217;s &#8211; scheduled events include the me&#8217;s 200-meter backstroke, the women&#8217;s 200-meter breaststroke, the men&#8217;s 200-meter butterfly, and the women&#8217;s 200-meter freestyle.<\/p>\n<p>Also included are both the men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s 4&#215;100 medley relays, as well as the first three heats of the men&#8217;s 1500-meter freestyle. The last and fastest heat will be swum at finals in the evening.<\/p>\n<p>Spain&#8217;s 400 IM champion <strong>Hugo Gonzalez<\/strong> is the top seed heading into the heats of the men&#8217;s 200-meter backstroke, seeded with a 1:57.00, which is faster than the current championship record in the event.<\/p>\n<p>Team USA&#8217;s <strong>Zoe Bartel\u00a0<\/strong>will be looking to assert her dominance as the top seed in the women&#8217;s 200-meter breaststroke, as will second-seeded teammate <strong>Ella Nelson<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>100-meter butterfly gold medalist Kristof Milak of Hungary holds the top seed in the men&#8217;s 200-meter butterfly by almost two seconds over number two <strong>Antani Ivanov<\/strong> of Bulgaria, and four over the next closest competitor. Team USA&#8217;s <strong>Nick Albiero<\/strong>\u00a0and <strong>Andrew Koustik<\/strong> will be in the running to make the final heat as well.<\/p>\n<p>Hungary&#8217;s <strong>Ajna Kesely<\/strong> will match up against Canada&#8217;s <strong>Taylor Ruck<\/strong>, Korea&#8217;s <strong>Easop Lee<\/strong>, and Russia&#8217;s <strong>Irina Krivonogova<\/strong> in the women&#8217;s 200-meter freestyle.<\/p>\n<p>In the third heat of the men&#8217;s 1500-meter freestyle, Japan&#8217;s <strong>Tatsuki Shoike<\/strong> and Australia&#8217;s <strong>Jacob Vincent<\/strong> have almost identical seed times &#8211; the heat is shaping up to be an exciting race before the final heat in the evening.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Check out the heat sheets for the sixth and final day of prelims at the 2017 FINA World Junior Championships in Indianapolis.
