COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado, July 13. USA Swimming updated its Banned List today to include Michael Johnson, who is identified as attached to Ozark Swimming. Johnson, who coached at Parkway Swim Club from August until November 2010, was banned due to violations of the Code of Conduct 304.3.5, .15. These are violations of a sexual nature.<\/p>\n
Swimming World<\/i> has confirmed that Johnson engaged in multiple inappropriate text messages with a minor swimmer, and that the behavior has been repetitive.<\/p>\n
Johnson's banned date is listed as June 13, 2011. Members of the banned list are given a 30-day appeal period before being added to the public version of the banned list.
