The session begins at 6 p.m. ET.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/vmrw8k5h.tinifycdn.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/fina-world-junior-day-five-finals-heat-sheet.pdf\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Click here to view the full heat sheet.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The session will kick off with the fastest heat of the women&#8217;s 1500 free, as well as finals in the men&#8217;s 50 fly, women&#8217;s 50 back, men&#8217;s 400 IM and women&#8217;s 400 free relay. All of the top seeds for semi-finals are Americans or Canadians.<\/p>\n<p>American top seeds include\u00a0<strong>Erica Sullivan<\/strong>\u00a0in the women&#8217;s 1500,\u00a0<strong>Michael Andrew<\/strong>\u00a0in the men&#8217;s 50 fly and\u00a0<strong>Kieran Smith\u00a0<\/strong>in the men&#8217;s 400 IM, while Canadian\u00a0<strong>Jade Hannah\u00a0<\/strong>led the way into the 50 back final, and her teammates qualified first in the 400 free relay.<\/p>\n<p>Semi-final action will include the men&#8217;s 100 free, women&#8217;s 100 fly, women&#8217;s 50 free and men&#8217;s 50 breast.\u00a0<strong>Nicolo Martinenghi\u00a0<\/strong>set a championship record in the 50 breast prelims and returns as the top seed for semis.<\/p>\n<p>There were no scratches for the session.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Check out the heat sheets for the fifth evening of finals at the 2017 FINA World Junior Championships in Indianapolis.
