Women\u2019s 50 Breaststroke<\/h2>\n

USA\u2019s Emily Weiss<\/strong> got her hands on the wall first in the 50 breast, blasting a huge lifetime best of 30.78. Coming into the meet, she had never broken 31 seconds before. Canada\u2019s Faith Knelson<\/strong> and Ireland\u2019s Mona McSharry<\/strong> also came in under 31, finishing in 30.91 and 30.97, respectively. This was Knelson\u2019s first time in the 30-second range.<\/p>\n

Weiss\u2019 teammate Zoe Bartel<\/strong> led the rest of the swimmers, coming in fourth with a lifetime best of 31.28. Poland\u2019s Weronkia Hallmann<\/strong> (31.50), Lithuania\u2019s Agne Seleikaite<\/strong> (32.10), Australia\u2019s Chelsea Hodges<\/strong> (32.12) and Turkey\u2019s Gulsen Samanci<\/strong> (32.25) rounded out the Championship heat.<\/p>\n
