Five new\u00a0world records were set throughout the day of relays, with several championship records falling as well. Take a look at all the records that were broken at the meet below.<\/p>\n<h3><b>320-359 Age Group<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The German men\u2019s squad of <\/span><b>Gunter Kallenbach<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Jurgen Paul Schubert<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Gottfried Klaring<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Wolfgang Sieber<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> set a new championship record in the 200 medley relay with a 2:59.09.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>280-319 Age Group<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The German team of <\/span><b>Ruth Stubert<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Monika Ingrid Senftleben<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Angelika Radau<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and <\/span><b>Brigitte Merten<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> set a new women&#8217;s world and championship record in the 200 free relay with a 2:29.53. That same team would also go on to set a new championship record in the 200 medley relay as well in 2:52.11.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Hungarian men&#8217;s relay of <\/span><b>Laszlo Csaba<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Attila Banhidy<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Jozsef Csikany<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and <\/span><b>Ferenc Erdelyi<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> set a new championship record in the men&#8217;s 200 free relay with a 2:01.28. The Brazilian men\u2019s team of 2:16.15 <\/span><b>Jose Orlando Loro<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Antonio Orselli<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Paulo Motta<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Jose Guisard Ferraz<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> set a new championship and world record in the 200 medley relay with a 2:16.15. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">United States team of <\/span><b>Richard Burns, Laura Val, Nancy Ridout, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and <\/span><b>Tate Holt <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">set a new world and championships record in the mixed 200 free relay with a 2:05.58. Val, Burns, and Ridout would then join <\/span><b>Rick Meyerhoff <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">to set a new championship record in the mixed 200 medley relay with a 2:25.50. <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>240-279 Age Group<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The South African team of <\/span><b>Tim Shead<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Andre Steynberg<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Roothman Andre Johan<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and <\/span><b>Graeme Fiser<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> set a new championship record of 1:49.16 in the men&#8217;s 200 free relay and the men\u2019s 200 medley relay (2:01.52). <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>200-239 Age Group<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Norwegian team of <\/span><b>Lise Lothe<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Anette Ekberg Sorensen<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Janne Urdal Thornstensen<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and <\/span><b>Bente Rist<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> set a new championship record in the 200 medley relay with a 2:11.41.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The German team of <\/span><b>Michelle Ware, David Bryant, Mike Hodgson, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and <\/span><b>Lynda Coggins <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">set a new world and championship record of 1:59.99 in the mixed 200 medley relay.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>160-199 Age Group<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Russian Team of <\/span><b>Aleksandr Shilin<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Sergei Medvedev<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Aleksei Manzhula<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and <\/span><b>Vladimir Predkin<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> set a new world and championship record in both the 200 free relay (1:34.92) and 200 medley relay (1:45.47). <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>120-159 Age Group<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Brazilian team of <\/span><b>Carla Horst Vaine<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Karine Volpe<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Estefania Milanez<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and <\/span><b>Marina Fructuozo<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> set a new championship record in the 200 medley relay in 2:03.60.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The records continued to fall at\u00a0the 2017 FINA World Masters Championships in Budapest, Hungary.
