TARGET HIRE DATE: IMMEDIATE<\/p>\n
As the Aquatic Event Manager for the facility, the successful candidate will be accountable for leading team-oriented efforts to meet TAC's high-quality standards in attracting, planning and organizing, and ultimately executing all activities related to hosting local, state, regional, and national level swim meets and other events at the facility. Responsible for event budget targets, the Event Manager will work a flexible schedule, but must be willing to work weekends when events are typically held. Ongoing key responsibilities include: <\/p>\n
\u2022\tAttract and schedule events \/ meets in conjunction with availability of TAC partners and programs;
\n\u2022\tCoordinate with event stakeholders to maximize the guest and participant experience and TAC profitability;
\n\u2022\tManage facility setup and teardown, Hytek meet setup and results in accordance with host specifics;
\n\u2022\tManage all aspects of event purchasing, staffing, invoicing, reporting and maintenance;
\n\u2022\tTroubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the course of the event, including incidents related to timing system, results, and meet services;
\n\u2022\tLiaise with event hosts, coaches, hospitality coordinators, media, external vendors, NC Swimming and other governance organizations related to events;
\n\u2022\tCo-serve as TAC's representative with TSA (Summer League Swimming);
\n\u2022\tManage the caf\u00e9<\/p>\n
Salary and Benefits:<\/p>\n
\u2022\tRange $26,000 – $30,000 based on experience, plus performance-based incentive opportunity

\u2022\tEducation: Bachelor degree in a related field
\n\u2022\tProven managerial experience
\n\u2022\tExcellent organizational, and written and oral communication skills
\n\u2022\tComfortable with technology and basic Microsoft applications; web services and Hytek a plus
\n\u2022\tConfidence in a multi-task-oriented environment
\n\u2022\tPassion for health, safety, recreation and \/ or competition, preferably in aquatics<\/p>\n
