NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Florida State has added a verbal commitment from Alexis Durlacher<\/strong>\u00a0to the Class of 2022.\u00a0Hannah Womer<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Stephanie Holmes<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>are also planning to dive in for the Seminoles next fall.<\/p>\n

In an announcement made on her Instagram Durlacher wrote,<\/p>\n

\u201cFor so many years, I\u2019ve been wearing garnet and gold at Episcopal Amberjax and now I get to continue. With that being said\u2026 I\u2019m beyond thrilled to announce my verbal commitment to attend and swim at Florida State University! Super grateful for the guidance and support of my coaches, family, and friends. Can\u2019t wait to be a part of such a dynamic and talented team! Go Noles!\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Jacksonville, Fla., native attends Florida Virtual School and specializes in\u00a0butterflyer\u00a0and freestyler. Durlacher\u00a0trains with the Epsicopal Amberjax and picked up her first Winter Juniors cut this summer in the 200 fly (2:19.11). Her short course isn’t quite yet on par with that long course performance, but she has seen consistent improvement in the smaller pool as well in the past few years.
