Auburn\u2019s swimming and diving programs will compete in seven dual meets and a total of five invitationals as head coach Brett Hawke announced the team\u2019s schedule. Headlining the dual meets will be a pair of January road tests at Texas and Florida while the teams will again split up for a pair of invitationals in Georgia in late fall.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am excited about the young team that we have with the new freshmen mixed in with some very talented returnees,\u201d Hawke said. \u201cIt\u2019s a new year, a new team and I\u2019m excited to get the ball rolling.\u201d<\/p>\n
Auburn\u2019s dual meets will bring Tennessee and Wisconsin (Oct. 13-14<\/span>), Texas A&M (Oct. 21<\/span>) and Alabama (Oct. 27<\/span>) to the James E. Martin Aquatics Center during the fall and will send the team to South Carolina (Nov. 4<\/span>), Texas (Jan. 8<\/span>) and Florida (Jan. 20<\/span>).<\/p>\n \u201cOne of the highlights on the schedule this fall is a tri-meet with Wisconsin and Tennessee, two really well coached programs and very competitive teams,\u201d Hawke said. \u201cHaving Alabama at home always adds to the level of intensity that we will experience in the fall.<\/p>\n \u201cLeading into the championship season we will be on the road at Texas and Florida, two teams that always sharpen us and challenge us in ways that make us better,\u201d Hawke said.<\/p>\n The men\u2019s and women\u2019s teams will split up for a pair of fall competitions, with the women going to the Georgia Tech Invitational\u00a0Nov. 16-18<\/span>\u00a0and the men going to the Georgia Invitational\u00a0Dec. 1-3<\/span>.<\/p>\n The divers will also compete in the Auburn (Dec. 17-19<\/span>) and Tennessee (Jan. 3-5<\/span>) Diving Invitationals.<\/p>\n The SEC Championships will be held\u00a0Feb. 12-16<\/span>\u00a0at Texas A&M.<\/p>\n The NCAA Diving Zones will be held\u00a0March 5-7<\/span>, with Auburn\u2019s divers going to Knoxville, Tenn.<\/p>\n The women\u2019s NCAA Championships will be held in Columbus, Ohio (Mar. 14-17<\/span>) and the men\u2019s in Minneapolis, Minn.
