NEW COMMIT:<\/strong> Alex Boratto<\/strong>, a\u00a0backstroker\u00a0from Lower Gwynedd, PA has verbally committed to swim for Stanford University beginning in the fall of 2018.<\/p>\n

Boratto wrote,<\/p>\n

“Stanford offered the best combination of Academics and Athletics for what I was looking to get out of my college experience. I am honored and excited to be part of this great program. #Fearthetree”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Boratto trains with Upper Dublin Aquatic Club in Fort Washington. He’s a rising senior at the Haverford School. He’s the defending Eastern Interscholastic Champion<\/a> in the 200 freestyle (1:39.40) and 100 backstroke. Boratto is also the 100 backstroke meet record holder (48.86).\u00a0He continued his success into this summer when he won the 50 backstroke at NCSA Championships.<\/p>\n
