Mallam has spent the last two seasons at Arizona State University under head coach <b>Bob Bowman<\/b>, where the two helped drive a resurgence to the men\u2019s and women\u2019s teams. Prior to coaching at ASU, Mallam was the Associate Head Coach at Texas A&amp;M (2013-15) and the Head Coach at NJCAA powerhouse Indian River State (2010-13). Team Energy Standard came away with the overall win, totaling 453 points over the two days of competition, to raise 26,000 euros for their charity <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/tabletochki.org\/en\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tabletochki<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, an international fund that helps provide treatment for blood cancer in the Ukraine. Team USA was second with 401 points, followed by Italy (315) and Australia (284). Rising senior <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/video-interview-alex-zettle-hard-work-pays-off-with-400-free-win-at-jr-nats\/\" target=\"_blank\"><b>Alex Zettle<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> who has already committed to the Texas Longhorns, broke future teammate <\/span><b>Townley Haas\u2019 <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">meet record en route to winning the 400 (3:51.44) freestyle while also picking up a win in the 200 (1:49.13). Both teams also saw a rise to prominence on the national level, with the men (fourth) and women (seventh) producing their highest NCAA finishes in history this year.
