Grace Ariola\u00a0<\/strong>will swim on her third Team USA junior team later this month at the World Junior Championships in Indianapolis, and she will take on a busy schedule, with the 50s and 100s of free and back, plus relays.<\/p>\n

First, though, Ariola came to Junior Nationals to swim a short program of events, and she explained in an interview with\u00a0Swimming World<\/em> why she wanted to come, even though she was not fully rested.<\/p>\n

Ariola also discussed what she’s expecting for World Juniors, including how her role on the team has changed and how she plans to deal with her busy schedule and the ups and downs of a six-day meet. She also shed insight on whether she’s a better freestyler or backstroker.<\/p>\n
