Despite Koch&#8217;s attempt to narrow the gap and pull ahead, Prigoda held him off for victory and a time of 2:02.15. The Spaniard succeeded in holding off the world champion as she powered to a new world record of 4:18.94.<\/p>\n<p>Belmonte&#8217;s time downs Hosszu&#8217;s 2015 world record of 4:19.46, set in Netanya, Israel. She also lowered the world cup record of 4:19.82 that Hosszu had set a slim six days ago.<\/p>\n<p>Hosszu settled for second overall with a time of 4:25.18, while the USA&#8217;S\u00a0<strong>Ella Eastin<\/strong> grabbed third with a time of 4:26.06.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ilaria Cusinato<\/strong> of Italy turned in a fourth place finish of 4:34.11, followed by Germany&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Franziska Hentke&#8217;s<\/strong> 4:38.03.<\/p>\n<p>Belgium&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Fanny Lecluyse<\/strong> (4:39.82), the USA&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Kim Williams<\/strong>
