Chelsea Piers&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Kate Douglass\u00a0<\/strong>posted a quick 31.52 free split to take the second seed in 2:17.90, two hundredths ahead of Carter (2:17.92).<\/p>\n<p>Metroplex&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Lindsay Looney<\/strong>, the 400 IM winner from Wednesday, qualified fourth in 2:18.05, with Austin Swim Club&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Diana Dunn\u00a0<\/strong>one hundredth behind in 2:18.06.<\/p>\n<p>Triton&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Claire Donan\u00a0<\/strong>qualified sixth in 2:18.35, while Long Island&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Kristen Romano\u00a0<\/strong>finished seventh in 2:18.65. Carson, the 200 fly, 200 back and 100 back winner, easily topped the field with his time of 2:02.23, while Jake, who won the 400 IM, came in second at 2:04.00. Both Carson and Jake represent the\u00a0<strong>Mason Manta Rays<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Two others who have won events got into the final as well, with Nitro&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Shaine Casas\u00a0<\/strong>(100 fly) qualifying third in 2:04.35 and Terrapins&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Alexei Sancov\u00a0<\/strong>(100 free) fifth at 2:05.03. Portland&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Sid Farber\u00a0<\/strong>qualified second, one tenth back in 23.09, and Nitro&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Shaine Casas\u00a0<\/strong>qualified for his second final of the day with his third-seeded time of 23.27.<\/p>\n<p>Mason Manta Rays&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Adam Chaney\u00a0<\/strong>was fourth in 23.29, and Mississippi Mako&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Blaise Vera\u00a0<\/strong>qualified fifth in 23.35.
