Legends <strong>Femke Heemskerk<\/strong> and <strong>Ranomi Kromowidjojo<\/strong> along with younger swimmers <strong>Kyle Stolk<\/strong> and <strong>Arno Kamminga<\/strong> continue to excite the Dutch home crowd on the last morning of prelims in Eindhoven.<\/p>\n<p>The men&#8217;s 100 free started out the morning session with <strong>Chad Le Clos<\/strong> of South Africa taking the top spot with a 47.08 ahead of <strong>Vladimir Morozov<\/strong> of Russia (47.29) and <strong>Kyle Stolk<\/strong> of the Netherlands (47.31).<\/p>\n<p>Jamaica&#8217;s <strong>Alia Atkinson<\/strong> continued an impressive showing at the World Cup in Eindhoven with a 29.56 to lead the 50 breast heats. Atkinson is ahead of Lithuania&#8217;s <strong>Ruta Meilutyte<\/strong> (30.13) and a tie for third between <strong>Rikke Pedersen<\/strong> of Denmark and <strong>Kim Busch<\/strong> of the Netherlands (30.99).<\/p>\n<p>The men&#8217;s 200 breast will be a tight race in the final tonight as Russia&#8217;s <strong>Kirill Prigoda<\/strong> leads the heats with a 2:04.34. He was ahead of <strong>Arno Kamminga<\/strong> of the Netherlands (2:04.74) and <strong>Ilya Shymanovich<\/strong> of Belarus (2:04.95). Also in the field are <strong>Nic Fink<\/strong> of the United States (5th, 2:06.21) and <strong>Marco Koch<\/strong> of Germany (2:07.64).<\/p>\n<p>Belarus&#8217; <strong>Viktar Staselovich<\/strong> (23.74) is the top seed for the 50 back final ahead of Japan&#8217;s <strong>Masaki Kaneko<\/strong> (23.89) and Germany&#8217;s <strong>Christian Diener<\/strong> (24.03). Russia&#8217;s <strong>Vladimir Morozov<\/strong> (24.07), <strong>Grigory Tarasevich<\/strong> (24.17) and Australia&#8217;s <strong>Mitch Larkin<\/strong> (24.28) are also in the final tonight.<\/p>\n<p>Hungary&#8217;s <strong>Katinka Hosszu<\/strong> is the fastest qualifier in the 100 back with a 56.95 ahead of the United States&#8217; <strong>Olivia Smoliga<\/strong> (57.03) and Australia&#8217;s <strong>Emily Seebohm<\/strong> (57.68).<\/p>\n<p>Australia&#8217;s <strong>Clyde Lewis<\/strong> (1:55.35) is the top seed for the 200 IM final ahead of former Australian <strong>Kenneth To<\/strong> (1:56.84) who is now representing Hong Kong. <strong>Kyle Stolk<\/strong> of the Netherlands is third at 1:57.00. Australia will have two more swimmers in the final with <strong>Mitch Larkin<\/strong> (5th, 1:57.18) and <strong>Travis Mahoney<\/strong> (6th, 1:57.90) swimming tonight.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sarah Sjostrom<\/strong> of Sweden and <strong>Ranomi Kromowidjojo<\/strong> of the Netherlands will lock horns once again, this time in the finals of the 50 fly. Sjostrom swam a 24.55 to Kromowidjojo&#8217;s 24.95 to lead the heats. The two have been going at it in the sprint events throughout the World Cup stops. <strong>Maaike de Waard<\/strong> of the Netherlands is third at 25.39.<\/p>\n<p>The women&#8217;s 200 free will certainly be an exciting race as the Eindhoven crowd will certainly get behind <strong>Femke Heemskerk<\/strong> in the final as she swam a 1:54.11 this morning ahead of Italy&#8217;s <strong>Federica Pellegrini<\/strong> (1:54.61) and Israel&#8217;s <strong>Andi Murez<\/strong> (1:55.87). The United States will have three swimmers in the final with <strong>Melanie Margalis<\/strong> (4th, 1:56.17), <strong>Katie Drabot<\/strong> (5th, 1:56.28) and <strong>Ella Eastin<\/strong> (8th, 1:56.77).<\/p>\n<p>The men&#8217;s 100 fly heats closed out the preliminary session in Eindhoven as Belarus&#8217; <strong>Yauhen Tsurkin<\/strong> was the top seed at 50.66 ahead of Italy&#8217;s <strong>Matteo Rivolta<\/strong> (50.68) and Japan&#8217;s <strong>Masayuki Umemoto<\/strong> (50.86). It will be a tight race tonight as the top eight was separated by less than a second in the heats.
